Technology and product leader with 18+ years of experience building and scaling large consumer platforms across OTT, media, and education. I specialize in owning platforms end-to-end from architecture and engineering execution to product outcomes at scale.Currently, as VP Engineering & Platforms and Head of Tata Play Binge, I lead multi-platform OTT systems (Web, Mobile, Smart TVs) serving millions of users, with deep ownership across streaming pipelines, DRM, metadata, discovery, and recommendation systems. My focus has increasingly shifted toward Agentic AI-driven platforms where autonomous, goal-oriented systems are used to accelerate product development, personalization, quality, and operational efficiency.I have applied Agentic AI and LLM-based workflows across the software lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing, deployment, and observability while ensuring data privacy, IP safety, and enterprise-grade controls by leveraging company-owned models where required. This approach has helped teams move faster, reduce operational friction, and re-energize mature engineering organizations without compromising reliability or trust.Earlier, at HBO (USA), I led the global build and rollout of HBO GO across 37 countries, owning platform architecture and execution across devices and regions. At Edinno Tech Labs, I built and scaled AI-driven education and assessment platforms for organizations such as The College Board and Pearson, including adaptive testing, remediation engines, and deep-learning-based behavioral analysis impacting millions of learners.I believe the real leverage today sits at the intersection of platform engineering, agentic AI, and product thinking — where systems are designed not just to scale, but to learn, adapt, and continuously improve outcomes for users and teams alike.One leadership principle I strongly believe in is that the best way to scale impact is to first build strong teams and leaders. At Tata Play and earlier at Edinno Tech Labs I focused on forming teams that could reliably own execution against the product roadmap. This allowed me to work with a smaller innovation group on forward-looking initiatives such as Agentic AI, LLM-driven systems, streaming, video players, DRM, short-form video, and ad-tech etc. and using these as accelerators for engineering velocity, quality, and developer experience. The intent has always been to translate innovation into real roadmap outcomes, while re-energizing mature teams and helping them see new leverage in the work they do.
