I have also led technology innovation and business development as a CTO and CEO for several emerging companies, winning the 2021 Kong Innovator of the Year Award for Cloud Connectivity.I am also the founder of Hydrogen Cafe, a startup that aims to produce hydrogen from biogas pyrolysis, supported by the Welsh institutions. I am passionate about alternative energy and environmental sustainability, and I have been involved in R&D projects on nuclear, nanomaterials, and aviation. Furthermore, I am an AI safety and behavior expert, and I run a blog where I analyze the psychology and ethics of AI systems, exploring scenarios such as weaponization, power seeking, deception, and emergent goals. I have a background in computer engineering, business management, and history, and I speak English, Italian, French, Spanish and Russian. Other activities includes market exploitation for the Luxury industry.I was part of team that kicked off in Italy in the nineties when I was just a student at Pisa University.Last but not least I am the Laird of the derelict Baltersan Castle, in Scotland.
