I work across news and media as a photographer, videographer, and picture editor, producing freelance content for major broadcasters including BBC and ITV, regional newspapers, and international news agencies such as Reuters. I also contribute editorial imagery to Alamy and work on contract for PA Media, and have previously worked as a staff member on the visuals team at the Belfast Telegraph and Sunday Life.Alongside this, I run Derry Footage, an online media platform with a strong visual focus that evolves with the changing media landscape. Covering local news, community life, culture, music, and the arts, the platform documents events as they happen, quickly, accurately, and with impact. Its audience exceeds followers, with content reaching millions of people across Northern Ireland.I work to the highest journalistic standards, with a clear understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities, including NUJ guidelines. I am trusted to deliver accurate, compelling visuals in fast-moving print, digital, and broadcast environments, balancing speed, precision, and editorial judgement under pressure.Alongside my news work, I provide PR photography and videography for commercial and business clients, charities, schools, and individuals. This includes event coverage and commissioned visual work produced for press use and social media platforms. I manage the full process from capture through edit to final delivery, supplying complete, ready-to-use visual packages.
