Hi! I\'m Anya Butler. I am an artist and recent grad of California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).I have a deep interest in all things from commercial to feature but especially SERIES animation.Though my primary specialty is character and prop design, I adore ALL aspects of the animation pipeline. My passion lies in storytelling as a whole, so I am looking to work in any positions that encourage this: Writing, storyboarding, creative producing, design and more.I was born and raised in the English countryside which, to this day, is my greatest source of inspiration. I enjoy injecting whimsy into the everyday, making the ordinary, extraordinary. I also love themes of dystopia, surrealism and fiction vs reality. Stylistically, my work is often mixed media and plays with combining cartoon with realism.

   I create \'edutainment\' YouTube videos about art and animation for newer artists.I primarily focus on teaching design and storytelling fundamentals through topical case studies, interviews and history. My channel has amassed 190k+ subscribers and is my way of making education as accessible as possible.
