ABOUT ANUSHRI CHANDRA
I have been working as a doctoral fellow in the research area of later transition metals mainly focusing on the platinum group metals. Different organic synthetic procedures, such as solid-state reaction, reactions under inert atmosphere, are used to prepare different, unorthodox and complex ligand molecules to give coordination complexes of specific properties. Further several separation techniques as well as spectroscopic techniques, different Mass Spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, etc. are used for the said purpose. Varying the environment in the coordination sphere in such complexes have often shown very good catalytic activity for organic transformation reactions, which are currently being explored.
