About Anushree Divekar

As a student at the Kelley School of Business in IU studying marketing and informatics, I aim to improve and give back to my community. My experiences thus far have been created from being a passionate learner, detail-oriented worker, and resilient individual. Passionate learner: Through being a part of the Illinois Shotokan Karate Club for the past 10 years, I learned discipline and the importance of dedication. I was able to give back to my community by volunteering and helping other students with their techniques. Detail-oriented worker: As an employee at DSW, I had to rearrange the shoes and label markdowns. While managing my time to complete each task, I took time to ensure each item was organized properly. By being meticulous with the way I fixed each pair of shoes, I successfully improved the environment of the store itself. Resilient individual: While working at a burrito place with several rush hours, I would be overwhelmed with the number of orders. Eventually, I learned how to manage my stress to prevent it from getting in the way of completing the orders. By being resilient, I was able to alleviate my stress overtime by focusing on each task at hand.
