ABOUT ANUSHKA MANDAL

As an Advocate and tax lawyer, I have completed my LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Birmingham. I hold a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) degree from Gujarat National Law University and have completed a semester abroad at Edith Cowan University, Australia. My academic and professional journey have fostered a keen interest in tax laws and in the interplay of artificial intelligence and law, which I explored in my dissertation at the University of Birmingham. With two years of prior experience at Khaitan & Co. in their Indirect Tax Practice, I have developed expertise in handling diverse legal matters and drafting documents related to GST, Excise, Customs, White Collar Crimes, other indirect taxation laws, banking and finance laws, commercial laws, and corporate compliance. Prior to Khaitan & Co, I worked as a Legal Associate at Kundalia & Associates and interned at several Tier 1 law firms in India, as well as at Fortuna Advisors in Perth, Australia, focusing on Direct Tax. I am a team player with excellent written and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and an eye for detail, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
