Currently conducting research with Prof. Andrew Fefferman’s Ultra-Basses Températures (UBT) group on ultra-coherent nanomechanical resonators. The project leverages state-of-the-art optomechanical devices—fabricated by the Kippenberg group at EPFL—known for their exceptionally low mechanical dissipation near 10 mK. Using the Néel group\'s world-unique microkelvin optomechanics cryostats, we aim to cool these devices below 1 mK to achieve record-high mechanical quantum coherence times (~1 second). This extreme coherence will be harnessed for quantum memory protocols and experimental tests at the intersection of general relativity and quantum mechanics.
