ABOUT ANUSHKA GUPTA

As an Indian qualified lawyer, I am pursuing an LLM at the London School of Economics, where I am focused on the intersection of IP, Data Protection, and Competition Law in the EU. I have a first-class LLB from the University of Delhi Faculty of Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade and Business Law from the Indian Society of International Law. I have gained valuable experience in legal services, litigation, and policy research in India and the UK. Most recently, I worked at PwC UK, where I reviewed commercial lending agreements and syndicated loans, abstracting key attributes and communicating with clients and stakeholders. I also performed document review for litigation at Elevate Services, flagging private information and maintaining quality control. Previously, I assisted the Additional Solicitor General of India on Supreme Court cases and contributed policy research to the Ministry of Law & Justice. I have also honed my research and writing skills as a Research Assistant and a Contributing Writer at LSE and Human Rights Pulse, respectively. With my strong Indian legal foundation and an LLM from LSE, I am well-positioned for contract management/review and legal roles in London, especially in Financial Services, IP, Technology, and Competition Law. I am passionate about applying my legal knowledge and skills to solve complex problems and create positive impact in the global context.
