ABOUT ANUROOP ASHOK

With 3 years of experience as a Senior Systems Engineer in the Design and Stress Analysis of Aerostructure components for Airbus, working with Infosys India, I’ve gained significant experience producing 3D models and assemblies, F & DT and Static Stress Analysis of complex machinery.My master\'s thesis at the University of Liverpool on the Assessment of Lattice-Boltzmann Tools for Offshore Helicopter Operations focused on CFD tools to simulate air-wake and environmental loads on offshore platforms. One of the key aims of my work was to contribute to offshore safety standards. I used Python and PALABOS tools to analyse wind-field data around offshore structures and was able to model complex systems under operating conditions.During my bachelor\'s, I was accepted into IIT Guwahati\'s - prestigious internship for mechanical engineering students during my bachelor\'s degree. My team and I concluded our internship and I co-authored our paper published in the journal Materials Today (Areca fiber reinforced LLDPE biocomposite). Our student team was also selected to receive the Kerala State Government\'s Innovator Funding for our proposal on a novel engineering solution for underwater transit. My internship with Apollo Tyres - a premier name in India\'s automotiove equipment manufacturing sector - further helped me hone my engineering skills, gave me valuable experience managing equipment on the factory floor and improved my ability to intuitively troubleshoot and problem solve.I am strongly committed to my views on engineering safe and environmentally conscious solutions for the betterment of the world. From being a student volunteer working with national cadet groups to undertake cleaning activities in my neighbourhood to being a disaster relief volunteer during the Kerala Floods of 2018 with the state government, I am committed to my social responsibility and community building.
