About Anurag Singh

I am a seasoned Senior Consultant with over Ten years of experience in MSMEs, Cluster Development, Industrial Development, Lean Manufacturing, CSR implementation and solid waste management sector. I have expertise in Project management and implementation in both goverment and private sectors. My experience includes working with ODOP, MSE-CDP, SFURTI, SIDBI, LMCS, CSR & I-STED initiatives.In my current role as a project consultant at Ernst & Young LLP, I am working on the Cluster Development project for the ODOP cell, Directorate of Industries, Goverment of Uttar Pradesh. I am responsible for setting up the CFC as per the Scheme Guidelines by preparing tender documents, clearances from state Goverment agencies, monitoring the progress, providing technical assistance and entrepreneurial skills to ODOP artisans/units vis-a-vis finance,design,packaging,testing,marketing etc. I am also involved in conducting baseline surveys for the cluster product, preparing District Action Plans, District Export Action plans and detailes project report(DPR) for the sanctioned projects under the Schemes (ODOP, MSE-CDP, and SFURTI)Previously, as a Consultant at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, I worked on public Sector Advisory (Agri Cluster Development) and FPO generation. I mobilized farmers into FIGs and FPOs, supported in training of farmers and board of directors of FPOs, and liaised with relevant stakeholders including goverment departments. I also identified Agri Cluster in district of Punjab and provided handholding for the creation of FPOs, stakeholder consultations, and delivered training on technical and marketing prospects of Agri produce.I started my career at Foundation For MSME Clusters, where I worked as an Manager and was responsible for the scaling of sustainable development of MSME Clusters in India. The project was concerned with implementation sustainable consumption and production measures in 500 foundry MSMEs spread across Punjab, Rajasthan & West Bengal. I coordinated with MSME units and explained the project and proposed outcome to then under the European Unions Switch Asia Project. I provided financial linkages with MSME units in the state of Punjab, conducted capacity building of enterprises through workshops and seminars, facilitated units in the adaptations of best practices and designsz and provided technical and handholding support to MSMEs.I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from DCRUST Murthal Sonipat.
