About Anurag Singh
As a Lead - Data Management at Preqin, the Home of Alternatives and foremost provider of data, analytics, and insights to the alternative assets community, I am responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of organizational data assets. I oversee the data management team and the data management platform, and I collaborate with the product, research, and sales teams to optimize data processes and improve decision-making capabilities. With my expertise in data analysis, modeling, and governance, I have helped Preqin develop customized solutions to meet the unique needs of its clients, ranging from fund managers and investors to service providers and commentators. I have also contributed to enhancing the data quality and coverage of Preqin\'s products and services, spanning the following asset classes: private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, private debt, natural resources, and secondaries. Additionally, I have earned the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate and the RMT Awards 2023 for my outstanding performance and knowledge in the field of alternative assets data management. I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and a Certification in Software Testing from IBM. I have a deep understanding of data management best practices and tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and Python. I am passionate about data and its potential to drive innovation and growth in the alternative assets industry.
