Software Test Engineer – CODIS (Complex Care Data Ingestion System)Tools/Tech: Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Allure Report, Azure DevOps, Databricks.Worked on a healthcare data ingestion platform (ETL-based) that processes millions of records from different clients every month. The goal was to make sure the data was properly validated, transformed, and stored so it could be used by other internal CCS applications for business and reporting.Here’s what I did- Took care of both manual and automation testing for the frontend and backend- Built an automation framework from scratch using Selenium + Java + Cucumber- Integrated Allure Reports into the automation suite for clean, detailed test reporting- Wrote and executed test cases, created test data, and verified UI and API responses- Did a lot of ETL/data validation testing on Databricks to make sure the data being ingested was accurate and matched the CCS One format- Used Azure DevOps to track test cases, bugs, and overall QA progress- Worked closely with developers and data engineers to identify issues early and get them fixed quickly- Was part of an Agile team – joined all sprint ceremonies like stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.It was a solid project where I got hands-on with both traditional testing and setting up automation from the ground up, especially in a data-heavy, healthcare-focused environment.
