   Senior Advanced Project Engineer on Honeywell Aerospace’s next‑generation Flight Management System (nFMS) program for Airbus, a highly complex, multi‑platform initiative with a total program cost of more than $160M.The nFMS program integrates Airbus FMS Family Plan 1 and Family Plan 2 and introduces enhanced connectivity capabilities to establish a single, common FMS baseline across A320 Single Aisle (SA), A330 Long Range (LR), A320 (NAX) and A350 platforms. The program also delivers new forward‑fit and retrofit avionics hardware, supporting fleet modernization and long‑term commonality.In this role, I serve as CAM / Functional Project Engineer for key FMS functional areas—Data Link (DL), Guidance (GUID), User Interface (UI), Connected FMS (CFMS)—and the Linux Task Force, supporting execution across FCI development, SCR Bug Fixes, Implementation, integration and deliver.Key Responsibilities• Own cost, schedule, scope, and quality commitments across assigned FMS functional domains• Lead cross‑functional coordination across systems, software, integration, verification• Drive Linux platform migration, enablement, and stabilization for Host Based Simulated System• Manage functional planning, IMS alignment, and CAM/WPM responsibilities• Support multi‑platform forward‑fit and retrofit readiness across SA, LR, and A350• Execute automation and optimization initiatives (MFCL, ATP, iCAR) to reduce effort, cycle time• Identify and mitigate technical and execution risks while maintaining certification alignment• Act as the primary functional point of contact for issue resolution and stakeholder communicationThis role combines technical depth, functional ownership, execution leadership with high‑visibility.
