She champions the delivery of sophisticated design services, fosters employee engagement, and consistently achieves business results across diverse sectors.With 30 years of rich international experience as a master planner, architect, and urban designer, Anupama is recognized as a strategic leader with a deep passion for design excellence and innovative sustainable solutions, driving positive impact in the built environment. She has guided numerous clients in defining their vision on complex projects, including large-scale mixed-use developments, airport city-side developments, and high-performance buildings spanning the Commercial Office, IT, Hospitality, Residential, Mixed-use, and Infrastructure sectors.Anupama holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, and a Double Master’s in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), USA, bringing with her two decades of professional experience from the United States.Prior to joining Jacobs, Anupama has held several senior leadership positions both in India and the US. She served as Managing Director at Gensler India, overseeing operations and strategy for Gensler in the India market and driving business growth; as Design Head at TATA Realty and Infrastructure Ltd, she managed a significant portfolio of both commercial and infrastructure projects, pan India. Prior to this, she led the design vertical at Shapoorji Pallonji’s Design & Build BU in Mumbai. In the US, Anupama worked as Design Head at AECOM in New York City for 11.5 years, leading and delivering numerous large-scale, complex projects.Her expertise in business development, design, and execution has consistently resulted in the successful delivery of landmark commercial and infrastructure projects across India and the United States.Beyond organisational leadership, Anupama is a respected voice in the industry. She continues to provide thought leadership through published articles, and as a keynote speaker and panelist at prestigious international conferences and public speaking forums.Anupama’s career reflects a unique blend of global perspective, visionary leadership, and technical expertise, making her an invaluable asset to the teams she leads, and to Jacobs’ continued growth in Asia.
