ABOUT ANUPAM PANDEY

I represent Next Bharat Ventures, a Suzuki-backed VC fund focused on building for underserved and emerging Bharat. My work centers on identifying and backing early-growth startups solving structural challenges across livelihoods, consumer, supply chains, financial inclusion, healthcare access, AI for the next billion, and small business enablement. I work closely with founders on capital strategy, scale design, and long-term value creation, with a clear lens on sustainable and inclusive growth. Previously, at Anthill Ventures, I led investments and venture programs, overseeing deal discovery, thesis development, and capital partnerships, particularly in consumer and scalable innovation ecosystems. Earlier, at CIE, Hyderabad, I managed investments, accelerator programs, portfolio strategy, and government partnerships across deeptech, medtech, and emerging media domains. My work involved structured founder evaluation, institutional partnerships, and navigating govt/corporate interfaces. I began my career building grassroots entrepreneurial ecosystems at Vruksh Ecosystem, where I led community programs, government proposals, and stakeholder networks across India and Southeast Asia, including leading the social impact community “Misfits.\" My focus remains consistent: backing mission-driven founders building durable businesses for large, underserved markets.
