Board certified hematologist/oncologist and palliative care physician with clinical experience in managing patients with solid tumor malignancies. I work in early stage drug development in immuno-oncology (IO). I am a global development lead on multiple IO assets. I formulate the overall development strategy for the assets I work on from the pre-IND evaluation to IND submission. I am adept at formulating clinical development plans (CDPs) incorporating TPPs and commercial input. In the role I have, I work cross functionally in a matrix environment with research, translational, commercial, pharmacology, statistical and safety leads. Furthermore, I lead and participate in multiple interactions with the senior leadership. I am skilled at running FIH studies in oncology, writing protocols for clinical trials in oncology for solid tumors, medical monitoring, interactions with KOLs and investigators, data cleaning, data review, data tabulation, responding to regulatory questions as well as site specific questions related to the trial protocols. I am familiar with submitting INDs to FDA, UK, EU, S. Korea, China and Japan. I lead clinical team meetings and co-chair safety meetings. I manage a team of development physicians and clinical scientists indirectly. I have also participated in completing due diligence on multiple projects that fall under business development.
