I manage a team of R&D scientists focused on discovering, characterizing, and manufacturing recombinant antibodies against diagnostic biomarkers. I act as a liaison between various internal departments and external collaborators and contractors, troubleshooting any hurdles the team might encounter in achieving weekly targets. I ensure projects progress smoothly from initiation to final product delivery, whether internally for assay development or externally to customers.My responsibilities include overseeing the training of new team members, managing project documentation in compliance with ISO 13485, developing and implementing new procedures, and performing risk assessments. I author work instructions and SOPs to ensure each department member remains compliant and possesses a detailed understanding of processes. I actively analyse gaps in the process and optimize the workflow to ensure my team meets set targets.
