Route Planning and Analysis for the best optimised route and payloads. New Station opening Assessment.• Responsible for Route Planning for International / Domestic ights.• Analyze all operational restrictions / rules as per the applicable State AIP / NOTAMs and provide optimum route, inclusive of Overying charges optimization• Identify Ops Specs requirements for each Route (such as EDTO, PBN, PBCS, CPDLC, ADS-C, etc.) and ensure Route planning in concurrence with the Aircraft Type Approvals• Highlight need for Ops Specs not currently held by the Aircraft Type for Route optimization and assist with approval process as required• Oversee monitoring & review of NOTAMs applicable to the relevant airspace and aerodromes and ensure compliance thereof• Propose optimum Destination & Enroute Alternates for a new Airport launch for further assessment from Performance Engineering perspective and finalization thereafter• Liaise with the relevant Divisions for the required support availability at the offline AirportsHandling Air India FMS Navigation Database.Coordinating with various data service providers to ensure timely deployment and validation of Navigation Databases and Navigation Charts. Raising and managing requests for tailored changes to Navigation Charts and Navigation Databases with respective vendors.Ensuring quality of Navigation Database(NAVDB) and timely updation of NAVDB in Aircrafts and Simulators.Resolving flight crew queries, errors found by us and addressing Flight Management System (FMS) and avionics-related issues concerning the Navigation Database.
