Looking into Phaco Development in Western Region (MP, Gujrarat, Maharashtra and Goa)Purpose: Maintain the managerial responsibilities; headcount includes; Clinical Applications Specialist Group Leader positions (TBD), Clinical Applications Specialist headcount Lead a designated Phaco Development Group (PDS, PDS-GL), within India, to drive the adoption of Phaco as the standard of care and first choice for cataract surgery throughout the country. This includes providing critical direction and focus for both the designated Phaco Development CAS Team and related Alcon India personnel in accelerating; the number of ophthalmologists trained and the conversion rate from ECCE/SICS to phaco as measured by quality and quantity of new procedures. This position will manage, direct, coordinate and conduct all activities related to training of Alcon’s “best practice” surgical applications. This will include but is not limited to; O.R. Surgical Consultation (demand creation), PD KOL/FOL development, PD Center of Excellence Training Center development, cataract business analysis, Phaco Development Strategy Execution, Phaco Development Marketing and Promotional SOV activities at Congresses, Symposiums and special events. Conscientious and consistent modeling of leadership, teamwork and cooperation with the local sales/marketing is critical to this position
