As a Building Systems Engineering Technician graduate, I’m passionate about creating and maintaining efficient, safe, and comfortable building environments. I’ve always been fascinated by what keeps buildings running smoothly behind the scenes, the systems that make them safe, efficient, and comfortable. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a career in building operations and maintenance, where I can turn that interest into practical solutions that make a real difference every day.I am currently working as a Building Operator at BGIS, where I operate and monitor mechanical, electrical, and supporting building systems, perform daily inspections, and carry out preventive, corrective, and on-demand maintenance. I troubleshoot system issues, manage work orders through CMMS, respond to service requests and emergencies, and ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and fire protection requirements.In addition to this role, my experience as a Team Lead at Allied Universal has strengthened my ability to oversee daily operations, maintain high safety standards, and deliver reliable service to tenants and management teams.Outside of work, I find inspiration in hiking, something I never thought I’d enjoy until I experienced the calm and renewal of nature firsthand. It reminds me that growth takes patience and adaptability, qualities I bring into my professional life.I am motivated by teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
