About Anubhav Savant

Anubhav Savant is passionate about discovering novel ideas, driving them towards implementation, and moving them to fruition. He is currently part of Mobile Security team at Gen focused on providing security solutions to consumers on mobile platforms. In his current role, he is responsible for strategy and architecture, and for providing technical leadership on various aspects of development to the engineering team. He invented a technology, known as App Advisor for Google Play, to proactively scan Android apps in App Stores for security, privacy, and performance issues and provide that information contextually within the app store _before_ user downloads the app (patented). App Advisor for Google Play received the AV-TEST Innovation Award and is being offered as part of Norton Mobile Security. He was awarded Achievers MVP while working in this role. Prior to joining the Norton Mobile team, he was a member of core team responsible for the development of Norton desktop security products such as Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, etc. In this role, he was responsible for key components in these products such as Startup Manager, Backup, Norton Autofix, etc. He was nominated for Top Talent Program while working in this role. Prior to joining NortonLifeLock, he worked in a security startup as a key member. He helped build security products for consumers and enterprises from ground up.
