ABOUT ANUBHAV CHOUDHARY

I\'m a researcher in climate finance analytics at the business school of University of Leeds working for the UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment (CGFI; My work involves the application of climate data and analytics in financial decision making.Previously, from 2018 to 2022, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, focusing on extratropical weather systems, particularly the impact of model resolution on warm conveyor belts and related cloud processes.I completed my PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University in India in 2018, with a focus on Indian summer monsoon simulations within regional climate modeling framework. I also have a strong interest in the complexities of the Himalayan climate system.My research involves analysis of global and regional climate simulations, satellite data, and reanalysis products. I handle and analyze large climate data using Python, Bash scripting, and Climate Data Operators (CDO) in a High-Performance Computing environment.My research findings have been published in prominent international journals of my field and could be accessed via my ORCID profile: I\'ve also presented my work at major international conferences, including AGU, EGU, and ICRC-CORDEX.In 2016, I received the prestigious DAAD fellowship during my PhD, allowing me to work as a visiting researcher at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. I\'ve also qualified for the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship in \"Environmental Sciences\" and \"Earth, Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Planetary Sciences\" conducted by the UGC and CSIR, Govt. of India.
