ABOUT JOSÉ MIGUEL ANTUNES

I\'m a Data Engineer with extensive Backend Development experience, specializing in building robust, scalable data platforms. Working primarily with Python and SQL, I\'ve helped transform complex data challenges into elegant solutions.Throughout my career, I\'ve navigated the full spectrum of architectural approaches - from monolithic APIs to distributed microservices, and from VM-based pipelines to modern cloud-native solutions. As a senior member of my current team, I\'ve been heavily involved in our pipeline transformation project, where we reduced processing time from 8 hours to under 2 minutes by migrating from Python/Pandas on on Airflow to dbt and BigQuery.I\'m well-versed in both AWS and GCP ecosystems, having worked with technologies like Lambda, Kubernetes, and various data warehousing solutions. While Python is my primary language, I\'ve delivered production systems in Golang and I\'m always excited to expand my technical toolkit.I believe great engineering is built on trust - in your systems, your tools, and most importantly, your team.
