After nearly three years as an SDET, I moved into a backend engineering role to take on more direct ownership of system design, delivery, and reliability in the bank payouts domain. I’ve continued to bring a strong quality mindset while expanding my scope across critical flows and infrastructure- Designed and delivered new global and regional banking rails (API- and file-based) to support high-throughput, business-critical use cases- Built fallback mechanisms and operational controls that improved resilience and reduced risk for merchants and internal teams- Introduced LaunchDarkly to the domain, defined usage patterns, and led its rollout across several services- Championed system documentation using tools like IcePanel to reduce ambiguity and help teams move faster with more clarity- Refactored payout routing logic in our core processing system using a rules-based approach, making it easier to extend, understand, and operate- Balanced strategic delivery with support and maintenance work—frequently stepping in to unblock others and resolve complex issues- Recognised for steady, high-quality delivery and trusted to own complex areas end to end.Currently focused on growing my technical depth and design skills while continuing to take on more responsibility across systems and projects.
