ABOUT ANTONY NELSON

Antony has been successfully designing, delivering and implementing change initiatives within and across the public sector and aligned businesses, including charities and the Social Enterprise sector, for over 20 years; the more complex the better. He is an intuitive innovator with a passion to maximise value for money and quality in the public sector and aligned services. Working through the development and implementation of changes to operational models, systems and processes he has a wealth of experience in maximising impact working with and through matrices of skilled professionals – sharing knowledge and forever learning. With a history of successfully drawing together and developing teams to deliver effective and efficient change across and within complex organisations, most recently he has been working on Primary Care initiatives with GPs and ICSs to support Primary Care in developing and implementing new service models and on City-Wide joint commissioning programmes to provide transformed community-focused services.Antony’s experiences as an Occupational Therapist specialising in Mental Health gave him a foundation in the importance of listening to the client/customer narrative and understanding the importance of context in supporting lasting change.A self-directed and highly motivated individual Antony is a qualified coach and voracious reader and keeps up to date with change, innovation and organisational development examples from all sorts of organisations, industries and philosophies.
