As Sponsor I have full autonomy to direct the development and implementation of: • Telecom infrastructure Platforms (FTN and FTNx) and the removal of legacy systems. £35.5m • The development and installation of Telecoms Business Tools Nationally £26.3m • As Sponsor I’m responsible for delivering the project’s business benefits regardless of whether the client is internal or external to Network Rail. Responsible for programme / project initiation and development, managing stakeholders and assessing the on-going viability of the work throughout the lifecycle. Accountabilities include but not limited to stakeholder engagement, gathering requirements & develop Investment Papers, accountable for the quality completion of products, stage gate reviews & final sign off on documents/products, risk change and cost management, regular assessment of a projects on going viability and whether it continues to support the customer needs, project completion and benefits generation, hold minute and chair Programme Boards meetings and workshops.
