A wealth of experience operating at senior management and board level in both Main Contracting and Developer Client organizations with a successful track record of starting up and delivering a broad range of design and construction projects dealing with the full range of project and commercial management activities from concept through to completion. Responsible for identifying and securing the acquisition and funding of new build residential schemes for City Sq. Developments Winning of new business opportunities including the successful tendering and negotiation of contracts with other private development companiesPlayed a key role in establishing Westfield in the UK as a successful in-house design and construction operation from an initial £100K pa turnover in 2002 to a current turnover of £500M pa including building up and organizing the project management, special projects and in-house design and construction divisions.Successfully starting up a major UK portfolio of urban retail schemes including Westfield’s first development scheme at Derby and more recently at Stratford - Europe’s largest urban shopping centre.Improved business efficiencies by establishing company policy and procedures for commercial control and management of construction projects including introduction of procurement procedures for contractors and consultants and the implementation of a global cost management system.Introduction and implementation of global and national framework agreements with key suppliers, contractors and consultants to improve business efficiencies and reduce costs.
