ABOUT ANTONY DRAPER
Most leadership teams do not lose clarity all at once. The drift starts quietly.Decisions slow down. Information becomes harder to trust. Teams begin operating from different versions of the plan. The founder starts carrying what the structure should be carrying. That is the work I do.I work with founders, leadership teams and investors during periods where growth, scrutiny or complexity begin exposing weaknesses in the operating structure underneath the business. Before this, I spent 11 years in the military supporting complex operations under pressure, followed by leadership roles across large-scale programmes in HP, Capita and government environments where weak structure had real operational consequences.Over time, I became less interested in surface-level optimisation and more interested in the patterns underneath organisational strain:• where decision-making breaks down• where leadership teams lose coherence• where execution starts depending too heavily on one person• where the business becomes harder to trust under pressureMy work now sits at the intersection of leadership, structure and operational clarity.Sometimes that means helping a founder step out of becoming the system holding the business together. Sometimes it means helping investors or boards understand whether the organisation can withstand scrutiny at the next stage of growth. The frameworks matter. The diagnostics matter. But they are not the point. The point is helping organisations become coherent enough to operate clearly under pressure. If any part of this feels familiar, send me a message or visit antonydraper.com.I respond personally.
