About Antony Cook

With more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector—and over two decades at Microsoft—I focus on helping organizations navigate complex legal, regulatory, and public policy landscapes. I currently lead Microsoft’s Customer and Partner Solutions (CPS) legal organization, a global team of 200 legal professionals across more than 50 countries. Together, we support Microsoft’s worldwide commercial sales organization and help ensure our business operates with trust, integrity, and compliance at its core.In this role, I oversee legal strategy for Microsoft’s commercial business globally while driving innovative approaches to legal practice, risk management, and corporate affairs. Our work enables Microsoft to empower customers, partners, and communities around the world through responsible technology and sound governance.Prior to joining Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, I served in multiple international leadership roles, including overseeing legal and government affairs for Microsoft Asia from Singapore, and earlier supporting the Middle East and Africa business from Istanbul and Dubai. These experiences have shaped a career deeply rooted in global business, cross cultural collaboration, and advancing responsible digital transformation.Beyond Microsoft, I serve as Chair of the National Center for APEC and sit on the Board of the World Justice Project Rule of Law. I am also a member of the Advisory Board for the Singapore Management University School of Law, contributing to the development of legal education and the next generation of leaders in the region.

   Antony leads a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 360 legal, government affairs, and digital crimes professionals that counsel Microsoft’s sales and marketing organization, providing front-line support for Microsoft’s Customer and Solutions team covering more than 100 countries. Antony has supported Microsoft’s sales and marketing teams around the world in a number of roles over his nearly 20 years tenure at Microsoft, including leading teams in Australia and New Zealand, Middle East and Africa, and Asia (including India and China). In addition to his work at Microsoft, Antony is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the National Center for APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) and on the Advisory Board for the Singapore Management University School of Law.
