ABOUT ANTONY BOURNE
I am the Industries Senior Vice President at IFS. I lead a team of global industry experts covering IFS focused industries, and support sales, marketing and partner enablement. I am an advocate for the need for flexibility and proactivity within the industry, a lead spokesperson for IFS, and am well respected for presenting my innovative ideas at conferences (Gartner, IDC and ARC included). Penned authority pieces include insight into next steps for intelligent tech and its impact on the future of manufacturing. With over 20 years in the field, I am experienced in sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Life Sciences and High Tech and am proud to have guided hundreds of companies from software selection through to implementation. I am eager to align product strategy with industry expectations and projections, therefore have hosted customer advisory councils in conjunction with research and development (R&D). My previous experience includes time as a business analyst with the Ford Motor Company and AlliedSignal. I am also a firm believer in the practical application of theory and a customer-centric view, having implemented ERP applications, and bringing improvement to business process. I am also a member of Mensa and obtained my bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Glamorgan.
