ABOUT ANTONY RUBAN S

S. Antony Ruban is an experienced healthcare professional with over a decade of academic and research experience in the field of Radiology and Imaging Technology. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Radiology and Imaging Technology at Om Sterling Global University, Hisar, Haryana, India.He completed both his Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) studies in Radiology and Imaging Technology at the School of Allied Health Sciences, VIMS Hospital Campus, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation – Deemed to be University (VMRF-DU), Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. His academic journey at this institution laid a solid foundation for his professional expertise and academic contributions in the field.With extensive clinical exposure, he has worked with a wide range of imaging modalities including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology. His hands-on experience enriches his role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Technology at the School of Allied Health Sciences, VIMS Hospital Campus, VMRF-DU, Salem, Tamilnadu, India.Antony Ruban has presented research papers and posters at national and state-level conferences organized by esteemed bodies such as the Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT) and the Society of Indian Radiographers and Technologists (SIR). He is a life member of ISRT, currently serving as the National Council Member for Tamil Nadu and Executive Member of the ISRT Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Chapter.He is also actively engaged with international organizations, serving as a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and a corresponding member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR).In addition to his teaching and research activities, he serves as an external examiner for radiology and allied health programs at Pondicherry University (a Central University), and several government, private, and deemed universities across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Bengaluru.He is actively involved in alumni development, having served as the President of the Alumni Association, and currently holds the position of Head of Alumni Affairs at the School of Allied Health Sciences, VIMS Hospital Campus,VMRF-DU, Salem, Tamilnadu, India.A passionate educator and motivator, Antony Ruban is dedicated to writing books, book chapters, and academic articles tailored for Diploma, UG, and PG students in Radiology and Imaging Technology, with the goal of enhancing academic resources and supporting student learning.
