At Rivian, I lead a cross-functional engineering team spanning mobile, driver display, and infotainment platforms, delivering core experiences in Maps, Navigation, Trip Planning, Charging, Smart Charging, and Energy Management. Partner closely with engineering, design, and product leadership to shape strategy and drive execution of high-impact software initiatives.Built and scaled a team of Android, iOS & backend engineers focused on mapping, trip planning, and charging experiences. Directed integrations with partners such as Google, Mapbox, Tesla, Apple, and Telenav to co-develop next-generation EV software experiences- Led development of Mobile TripPlanner and integrated with ABRP, a route planning company acquired by Rivian- Architected and led development of Address Share that lets users instantly share an address from Google Maps & Apple Maps to a Rivian with a single tap- Oversaw integration of Google Search in vehicle & mobile and deprecated Telenav OneBox Search- Helped launch Charger Reliability Scores -A Rivian proprietary charger rating system and addition of charger amenities & tags- Played a key role in Rivian’s Tesla NACS integration, enabling seamless Plug & Charge on Tesla Superchargers and updating discovery, trip planning, and charging workflows- Oversaw launch of Rivian Navigation Powered by Google, introducing Live Traffic, Satellite Tiles, AI-based Place Summaries, and enhanced POIs- Oversaw development of the Refreshed Energy App, introducing Trip Target, Charge Session Monitor, and Predictive Charge Curve features- Led development of features to display Live vehicle location and Navigation ETA in the mobile appallow users to hide their location from other users- Drove the Smart Home Charging initiative, partnering with utilities to optimize off-peak charging and reduce grid load.
