ABOUT ANTONY DISCENZA
An ex-brand manager turned healthcare leader, and a vivaciously spirited morning person. I seek to improve the lives of patients in our healthcare system, with specific focus in corporate planning and strategy. My professional interests lie in finding creative solutions to close system gaps, and my long-term aspirations lie in not-for-profit and/or social enterprises that accomplish this. I love to teach and share my passions with others, and when not working toward enabling systems to deliver excellent patient care, I can be found in the classroom teaching about health systems and health system funding at McMaster University, and as an academic assistant in the Smith School of Business Masters of Management Analytics program. In my spare time I play French Horn in various musical ensembles, including the Oakville Wind Orchestra, Milton Philharmonic, Mississauga Pops, and various musical pit orchestras in the GTA. I also enjoy working on theatrical productions where I have held positions as musician, musical director, and producer. It is my breadth of interdisciplinary skills that affords me unique insights and different creative viewpoints when approaching problems.Thank you for taking the time to view my profile, and feel free to connect with me here on LinkedIn. I have a weakness for coffee, and would love to grab one with you to talk about healthcare, marketing, music, theatre, or anything on my profile you find interesting!
