Customer Service and Product Knowledge. Assist customers with purchases, provide recommendations, answer questions about meat products, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of different meat products, cuts, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.2. Processing and Quality Control. Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products according to specifications and customer requests. Inspect meat products for freshness and quality, remove expired or damaged items, and ensure proper storage conditions.3. Inventory Management and Merchandising. Monitor stock levels, ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked, replenish inventory as needed, and arrange products attractively in display cases. Properly package meat products for display and sale, ensuring appropriate labeling and adherence to weight and portion guidelines.4. Sanitation, Safety, and Equipment Maintenance. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, clean work areas and equipment regularly, and handle meat products safely to prevent contamination. Maintain and clean meat processing equipment, knives, and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and meet sanitation standards.5. Team Collaboration and Communication. Work closely with other team members, including butchers, packers, and sales associates, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
