Established Data Science & Engineering department: 11 member mix of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, a Program Manager and coops. Integrated the department with a dedicated development team into Visier production technology. Built out data science environment, best practice standards, scrum practices and knowledge persistence for the department. Directed design and implementation of Visiers Data Sciences cloud in AWS, including data lake, development, testing & production environments, and loose coupling to Visiers main environments.* Delivered Community Predictions AI product, a unique differentiator for Visier’s embedded business, that gives small organizations access to accurate ML predictions with models trained on the data of many organizations.* Delivered AI capabilities to Visier products through microservices framework, enabling data scientists to write production level code * Delivered 2nd generation ML prediction, benchmark generation and remote data science stacks built for scale and rapid innovation * Harmonization of Data Science & Data Engineering stacks enables scaling of Innovation without exploding maintenance effort * Rapid and sustainable innovation based on data flows that are constructed on data confidentiality and privacy by design principles Designed and directed implementation of a data normalization stack that enriches customer data automatically with taxonomy data, while growing a new dataset for Visier usable for IP creation.* Delivered Standardized Occupations product to customers that provides clean data to customers as well as greatly expanding the interpretable people data available to Visier. Designed and implemented a python runtime management process that unified the runtime definitions for all projects in the Data Sciences and Engineering Department.* Unified runtimes across the department and enabled exact replication of runtimes across local, dockerized and AWS hosted runtimes.
