ABOUT ANTON KRASIKOV

When I was a little kid in school, I played a game of Dune II on an i386 PC, I fell in love with computers and knew that my life will be connected with IT. Years later, I\'ve graduated with a degree in Computer Science and began working as a software engineer. Since then, I moved on to become a team leader, project manager, then an account manager for DataArt. I decided to switch things up a bit and joined Microsoft as Azure digital & app innovation specialist in October 2022.Having engineering background, I enjoy solving problems and building efficient and effective systems and processes. Why do stuff manually when you can automate it? I\'m very interested in process automation, DevSecOps, general IT strategy, legacy systems replatforming and cloud migration, so happy to talk with you about these topics.I continue to be fascinated with Information Technology and what positives it can bring for the whole human race. Modern technology is helping across many industries from retail and entertainment to finance and healthcare. However, as with any other tool invented by humanity, it might be used for malicious purposes. I\'m keen to explore the ethics of IT, and will be sharing my thoughts and analysis on the topic.Outside of IT, I enjoy spending time with my little son, playing basketball, doing some weightlifting and going to mountains for a bit of fresh air and possibly snowboarding if there is snow around. I like going outdoors in general to take in all the beauty our planet can offer - from serene beaches next to the ocean to dense forests with a thick canopy of trees to the grand snowy mountains. It all helps bring a little perspective as to what we humans do in life.
