ABOUT ANTONIOS PAVLIDIS

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), I am responsible for IT governance, information security, and the management of operational and outsourcing risks within a regulated financial institution. Beyond these roles, I also oversee audit management and data protection, ensuring a comprehensive governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework.In addition, I serve as Deputy Managing Director in the second line of defense, where I hold broad leadership responsibilities in corporate governance and operational resilience. In this capacity, I work closely with regulators, auditors, and executive stakeholders to ensure transparency, compliance, and sustainable growth.My leadership focus lies in building and transforming organizations, driving strategic programs, and aligning technology, risk, and regulatory requirements with business objectives. I lead the European implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and foster a culture where governance and security are embedded into decision-making and daily operations.Before, I worked as a Financial Services Manager at PwC Germany, advising banks, insurers, asset managers, and service providers in Germany and Switzerland. I coordinated and executed key initiatives within the firm’s incubator team, where we developed and scaled digital business models for financial services clients.
