About Antonio Faraone

During my career at Motorola Solutions, formerly Motorola, I led Antenna R&D within the Motorola Labs (later called CTO) and now in the Devices business, focusing mainly on portable 2-way radios, cellphones, base-station antennas and smart RFID arrays, while being also deeply involved in product regulatory compliance with respect to exposure to Electromagnetic Energy (EME) and the relative international standards 1528, IEC 62209, IEC 62232, IEC 62630, ICES). My contributions in both areas are documented by patents (50+), journal (40+)/ conference articles (100+), lead roles in standards development within ANSI, IEC & the Mobile & Wireless Forum (MWF), as well as an FDA advisor. Since 2018, I chair the MWF BoD. Lastly, I continue to learn from and collaborate with Prof. Renato Cicchetti (best friend forever and staunch mentor) from the University of Rome, Italy, on theoretical and applied electromagnetics research topics.
