About Antonio Salinas
With more than 27 years of military service across infantry, intelligence, and academic assignments, I bring deep experience in strategic intelligence analysis, leadership, and communication. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental History at Georgetown University, where my research examines how environment and climate have shaped security competition, trade, and the conduct of warfare.I serve as faculty at the National Intelligence University, teaching graduate-level courses on the geostrategic environment and Russian strategy, drawing on both academic scholarship and professional experience. I am also the author of books and numerous articles on military history and warfare, and previously served as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point.My work seeks to bridge history, strategy, and practice, contributing to the advancement of strategic intelligence while supporting the national security interests of the United States.
