ABOUT ANTONIO MELPIGNANO
I graduated in Information Engineering, and I also hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, I have obtained the Italian State License in Engineering (Section A). I have experience in Electric Motors control and software engineering, gained while working at STMicroelectronics. I am skilled in machine learning programming and used MS Luiss in a medical project presented at the international conference IDEAS2018. I am familiar with deep learning and computer vision algorithms. I have developed good practices in Network design, adhering to QoS standards. I studied Parallel Algorithms and worked on CMCC’s Supercomputer (Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Changes), designing a rooftline model and improving the performance of its parallel software, thereby increasing the cache hit rate. My Master’s thesis focused on the study of Real-Time Critical Systems, scheduling algorithms, and development and testing methodologies. I worked at DXC as an Application Developer consultant on an insurance project for Reale Mutua, involving two sub-projects: AMS (back-end: Prolog and Oracle SQL database model) and API-fication (API REST, XML SOAP). I spent a year at Angelstar Group as a V&V Engineer (Alten consultant), testing software for railway projects to integrate onboard train National Systems with the new ERTMS/ETCS System via the STM (Specific Transmission Module). I worked at Aptean (formerly Aptos Retail) for nearly two years as an Automation and Performance Engineer, focusing on performance and functional testing using various technologies, including APIs and cloud services. Currently, I am a team manager for Performance tests in banking and financial services companies, serving as a consultant for the TXT Group.
