As Aminonitriles (AN) Process Manager I lead technical and operational performance of a high-hazard Aminonitriles (AN) production unit, overseeing HCN-based synthesis, reaction control, process optimization, and cross-functional execution in a continuous chemical manufacturing environment-Ensure compliance with RCRA requirements for 90-day hazardous waste accumulation (wastewater tank), including inspection protocols, documentation control, contingency planning, and coordination of timely waste disposition-Ensure compliance with PSM requirements for highly hazardous chemicals, including participation in PHAs and safeguard validation-Support and oversee LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) program execution, partnering with EHS and maintenance to identify, document, and remediate fugitive emissions from valves, pumps, flanges, and HCN service equipment-Maintain 98% on-spec product quality through tight control of HCN concentration, feed variability, and reaction kinetics-Lead systematic troubleshooting of reaction upsets involving temperature excursions, pressure instability, feed ratio imbalances, and conversion losses-Utilize trend analysis and real-time process data to identify early indicators of reaction drift and prevent off-spec production-Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) on process deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence
