   I lead the electrification and renewable energy portfolio, collaborating with the City of Austin, Austin Energy, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver multimillion-dollar capital projects. My role encompasses obtaining necessary permits, leading the team and subject matter experts (SMEs) coordination, and overseeing transformative initiatives that advance the company\'s Zero Emissions Program. Key projects:• 2910 Electrification Project: This project involved installing two 1.44MW chargers with 48 plug-in dispensers under an existing canopy, enabling efficient bus charging operations. The project was completed on time and within budget, which was critical for launching the new MetroRapid program.• North Operations Center (NOPS) EV Infrastructure Project: I oversee the implementation of our solution for electric bus fleet charging infrastructure at NOPS, which includes 30 chargers and 90 pantographs.• North Operations Center (NOPS) PV Infrastructure Project: The project features a solar canopy covering square feet, incorporating approximately solar panels with a total capacity of 4.1 MW.• Microgrid and Battery Storage Project: I lead efforts to design and integrate electric batteries and advanced energy management solutions in CapMetro facilities. This will pave the way for future innovations, such as hydrogen production for energy purposes and as fuel for buses.• Hydrogen Program: I’m part of the workgroup responsible for defining the scope of work for CapMetro’s Hydrogen Program. This initiative builds on my current portfolio and focuses on finding synergies to optimize energy consumption and enhance system resiliency.• State of Good Repair (SOGR) Program: Leading the program for maintaining and replacing bridges along the railroad and other facilities within CapMetro\'s right-of-way. Successful replacement of Walnut Creek Bridge as part of the agreement with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
