ABOUT ANTONIO JOHNSON
Antonio D. Johnson is the Director of Planning, Environment, and Right of Way for the California Division of Federal Highway Administration, United States Department of Transportation. Antonio’s career expertise includes rural and urban transportation planning, air quality conformity, environmental planning and mitigation, emergency planning, civil rights, and environmental justice analysis, and asset management. Before joining the federal government, Antonio served as the Transportation Planner for the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT). Before ArDOT, Antonio was the Director of Regional Planning and Research for the Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency in Nashville, Tennessee. Antonio holds a Master of Geography in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a concentration of Political Science and Geography from Tennessee State University.
