ABOUT ANTONIO GAO
Hello, I am a 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia on a premed track hoping to pursue an MD. In relation to this, I am a volunteer EMT at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad as well as a research assistant in the Program for Anxiety, Cognition, and Treatment Lab. As an EMT, I have developed many skills, such as taking a BLS 12-lead, working quickly and efficiently as a team, and correctly prioritizing and learning indications of various clinical assessments. As a research assistant, I have learned to perform literary analyses, create poster presentations to present to the general public, and coordinate punctually with participants to remind them of the study\'s requirements.
