Research activities aim at deepening coastal erosion and flooding processes with reference to the effects on the resilience of coastal systems by means of multivariate models able to take into account the effects induced by climate change. The activities include multivariate-based risk analysis, the implementation of analytical-numerical models suitable for predicting coastal dynamics effects induced by extreme events taking into account the climate change.
