A little about me. I am the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at SWK Technologies, Inc. Although I’ve been in senior management roles for many (many) years, I am still flattered that my peers thought highly enough of me to have invited me to the Executive Leadership Team. I am grateful, and I will serve the organization - the nearly 200 SWK employees – with utmost verve. And that’s where my responsibilities begin, with our employees. I believe in setting people up for success. I serve as a mentor in a formal Mentor-Protégé program, a coach, and sometime as just a regular guy people can speak to and reflect – that works a lot! I believe in continuous development, especially in marketing where digital media move at the speed of light (literally). At the end of the day, I find myself surrounded by caring and ambitious people who love to learn and contribute, and I’m proud to say many of my direct reports have elevated themselves to management and senior management positions, and I couldn’t be prouder. As an officer, I focus on helping the company be profitable, building a services and solutions portfolio that has value to our customers, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, and reinforcing a culture of community, integrity, respect, transparency, and innovation that serves as the heart of our organization. Finally, I do marketing stuff. In addition to making sure my team is continuously learning and applying, I contribute to the architecture of the marketing technology stack and related processes and automations, I strive to understand the customer journey (that’s a big one), and I listen… a lot.
