Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.• Assume accountability for value creation by defined BI product(s) within one or more subject areas • Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific BI application initiatives • Work collaboratively with other PO’s and technical teams to ensure that development is being done in a complimentary fashion • Own and define scope, priorities, requirements, and approach for BI products and communicate plans to departmental stakeholders • Populate and groom the backlog of work as you identify and prioritize what the team should be working on and clearly expressing Product Backlog items• Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and outcomes;• Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next • Ensuring the Scrum Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed • Identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes and provide alternatives to the application changing • Proactively engage with stakeholders in business, innovate and identify new ways of improving processes and create value from data and analytics-driven products and act as escalation point to manage and resolve disputes or conflicts • Ensure BI products are delivered successfully, monitoring progress against agreed schedule, quality, scope and budget • Provide consulting on reactive, proactive and enhancement support services, as well as testing services to one or many applications • The Product Owner represent the desires of an Outcome Owner and will create a product that will satisfy these outcomes and constantly improve them towards successOther Roles held:Operations ManagerAssistant ManagerSr. SupervisorTeam LeaderSr. AnalystGroup CoordinatorDocumentation Associate
