ABOUT ANTONIO ATTANASIO
I graduated in Computer Engineering (M.Sc.) cum laude at Università del Salento and in Computer and Control Engineering (Ph.D.) at Politecnico di Torino. My research activity is in database and data mining fields. I work on the enhancement of data mining techniques with heterogeneous data and of algorithms to exploit big data platforms and to improve computational efficiency and scalability. I worked as research scientist at Links Foundation (formerly ISMB), where I designed and developed cloud computing infrastructures and software algorithms for data extraction, processing and analysis.
