Experience
Vice President, Communications and Strategic Initiatives
Sep 2019 — Present · Boston, MA, US
A member of the executive leadership team, I am responsible for shaping and advancing our global narrative across the organization while leading mission-critical, cross-functional initiatives. My role bridges strategic communications with organizational strategy and execution— ensuring clarity of purpose, alignment across stakeholders, and the successful implementation of initiatives to drive JSI\'s mission forward in the US and international markets. As Vice President for Technical Excellence (2024), I led strategic planning for JSI\'s International Division and served as a thought partner to the CEO and helped stabilize the organization after a tumultuous leadership transition. I helped clarify and cascade organizational strategic priorities across the organization, supporting internal communications and Board engagement. I served on the Senior Leadership Team and led all technical work across the division, working in many different countries with diverse clients. As Executive Director for World Education (2023-4), I was tasked with transitioning World Education, an affiliate organization, into a high-performing internal division. After overseeing the execution of the merger, I strengthened internal systems and processes. I led global strategic planning to support post-merger integration of staff, systems and client management, both in the United States and in more than 10 countries of operation. Within one year, the division’s annual revenue had grown by 32% and the net promoter score remained very high at 82%.As JSI\'s Co-Director, Center for HIV & Infectious Diseases (20••••23), I implemented a more expansive center of excellence model, identifying internal global technical experts to support internal learning and external thought leadership. I secured important external representational opportunities for the organization and led two of the organization’s largest bilateral programs to help repair challenging client relationships.
